Mobile Commerce
ESPayment offers consumers and businesses an intelligent and natural solution for mobile payment. Mobile payment allows consumers a natural and convenient solution for payments and the ability to purchase or pay for products and services as they arise. Unlike payment in E-commerce solutions, mobile payment can be executed at the point of purchase and anywhere the consumer carries his mobile phone (which is nearly everywhere all the time).
Mobile payment technology offers businesses the ability to increase consumer spending through closer access to consumer needs. With innovative marketing and promotions targeted at consumers, merchants are turning to personalized or differentiated products and services to secure loyal customers and attract new clients.
Our Solutions The core of ES Payment's technology is the ES Payment Gateway (ESPG). This Gateway is based around an intelligent engine that implements our mobile payment solutions namely:

• 2) esDebit
• 3) esCredit
• 4) esP2P

1) esPurse
is a mobile virtual E-purse micro-payment solution. The consumer keys in a formatted instruction that includes his UserID and other payment related information, and sends this to a specified number to effect micro-payment from his virtual E-purse account to his selected merchant, which is connected to an existing bank or payment services for payment instructions and settlement. The payment instruction and settlement process is undertaken by the payment services.
The bill merchants maintain payment settlement records in his merchant's back-end and the consumer gets a notification on his mobile phone.
esP2P is a simple, ideal solution for mobile micro-payment of regular monthly bills such as telephone bills, ISP (Internet Service Provider) bills, utility bills, conservancy charges, Country Club bills etc.. esP2P is suitable for ad-hoc type payments e.g. traffic fines, income tax payment, school fees and lottery payments.
2) esCredit
The esCredit product is a virtual credit or charge card. The consumer sends the transaction to the merchant via SMS rather than present his credit card. The merchant's system, through the credit card network, will obtain information concerning the enrollment of the consumer. The merchant's system will then request payment authorization from the consumer's issuing bank prior to executing a normal payment with the merchant's acquirer. The esP2P product is ESPayment's solution for mobile Peer to Peer payments. esP2P requires the payee consumer to register his acquiring (receiving) bank at the Consumer Preference Engine. The payer consumer likewise registers his issuing (paying) bank account or virtual E-purse account. When payer sends a payment instruction to payee's phone number, payer will be asked by the issuing bank to confirm payment and to enter his Personal Identification Number (PIN) to autheticate payment.
The payment infrastructure will undertake direct debit or virtual E-purse payment from payer's to payee's account, and a SMS or Other requested payment record will be sent to both payer's and payee's phone (according to their indicated preference).
3) esP2P
The esP2P product is ES Payment's solution for mobile Peer-to- Peer payments. esP2P requires the payee consumer to register his acquiring (receiving) bank at the Consumer Preference Engine. The payer consumer likewise registers his issuing (paying) bank account or virtual E-purse account. When payer sends a payment instruction to payee's phone number, payer will receive a FVR and be asked to key in confirmation of transaction and PIN. The payment infrastructure will undertake direct debit or virtual E-purse payment from payer's to payee's account, and a SMS or FVR payment record will be sent to both payer's and payee's phone (according to their indicated preference).
4) esDebit
esDebit is a mobile direct bank debit micro-payment solution. The consumer sends the same formatted instruction to a specified number at a hosted central server. The server interacts with the issuing bank's systems to effect the transaction. A mobile direct debit payment requires the consumer to underwrite his own risk in wrong or fraudulent payment to merchants and non recovery.
The consumer is asked by the issuing bank to confirm payment and to enter his Personal Identification Number (PIN) to authenticate payment. Direct debit from consumer's issuing bank to merchant's acquiring bank is undertaken by the payment infrastructure provider. The consumer gets a notification on his mobile phone or alternatively, by pre-selecting his choice via the Consumer Preference Engine, he can choose to receive a ˇ°payment madeˇ± notification by email,SMS, fax or voice.
esDebit is targeted at diversified merchants including POS merchants e.g . petrol stations, boutiques, salons, florists , restaurants, car parks, ticketing etc.. Merchants will require a return notification and payment record. esDebit provides a simple, effective multi-modal return path notification and payment record via fax, email, SMS or voice call on his fixed line or mobile phone. The server maintains a payment record to the payee that the payment has been made and payment record has been delivered. Merchants can use the Merchant Configuration Engine to pre-select the medium through which payment records are sent i.e. via fax, email, SMS, voice call on his fixed line or mobile phone, POS etc.
